Do I need to register on SAM.gov before I can use BidAuthority?
No. You can browse live SAM.gov opportunities, run the AI demo generator, and explore every paid plan's features without an active SAM.gov registration. You'll only need an active SAM.gov record when you're ready to submit a real bid to a federal agency. Most users start by finding their target RFPs here and complete their SAM.gov registration in parallel.
Can I cancel anytime?
Absolutely. Cancel from your dashboard at any time, no questions asked, no fees. If you cancel, you'll keep access until the end of your current billing period. We don't prorate or offer partial-month refunds, but we don't lock you in either.
How fresh is the SAM.gov data?
Our SAM.gov sync runs multiple times per day — every federal opportunity notice appears in your feed within hours of publication on SAM.gov. We scrape the full opportunity details including evaluation factors, set-aside status, NAICS codes, and agency contact information. You're not looking at cached stale data.
What counts as a "proposal draft"?
A draft is generated when you click "Generate Proposal" on an opportunity in your dashboard. Each draft includes the AI-generated narrative sections, compliance matrix, and is saved to your proposals list. Re-generating a draft for the same opportunity does not consume additional credits — only the first generation per opportunity counts.
